The universal couplings have very important purpose to eliminate any misalignment or angular inclination at drive side. Universal Coupling joints roll to drive system & forms properly aligned, right angled matrix with respect to pass line. It nullifies the effect of vibrations causing damping effect on tolerance of the rolling stock, necessary provision for spindle carrier is carried out. We are also committed for maintaining quality & provide specifications Like

Construction of Universal Coupling & Spindle:

• Spindles and couplings are required to connect output shafts of Pinion Stand to rolls of mill stand.
• Each set will consist of two couplings head assemblies and one spindle.
• Provision on the spindles for their support has to be provided.
• Each set of grease bath type universal couplings and spindles shall have one number spindle and two numbers couplings heads.
• The coupling head assembly shall be fitted with sleeves and all fitments including non- ferrous slipper pads
