The Cardan have very important purpose to eliminate any misalignment or angular inclination at drive side. Universal Coupling joints roll to drive system & forms properly aligned, right angled matrix with respect to pass line. It nullifies the effect of vibrations causing damping effect on tolerance of the rolling stock, necessary provision for spindle carrier is carried out.
